I like straight leg jeans best with athletic-inspired sneakers like these, and these Madewell Perfect Vintage Jeans are made of a retro-inspired rigid denim with just a hint of stretch. They have a versatile medium wash with some subtle fading and abrasion for a casual, lived-in vibe.
The 29″ inseam is a little longer than ankle length, but not quite full length on me, and they have a subtle taper at the ankle. I typically prefer to show a bit of ankle with my sneakers, but trends are moving away from that look this fall.
